Australians have almost completely dumped every search engine on the market and made Google (of course) as their search engine of choice.
It was reported over at Marketingmag.com.au that Google.com and Google.com.au combined for 90% of the searches online in Australia; 85.18% of these were via Google.com.au.
Some interesting points from the report:
- Yahoo!7 has lost market share with 2.38% of searches
- Bing had 3.65% of the market share
- Travel, health & medical, sports & aviation experienced the greatest growth in search volume in April
