Where Are Your Yahoo Ads Showing?

Yahoo Search MarketingThe Yahoo Search Marketing Team have been releasing some new features to their ad serving platform, one of their latest will allow you to pinpoint which of the Yahoo search marketing partners are serving your ads and providing you with quality traffic.

You are able to determine this information by running the Ad Delivery Report, found by clicking on the “Reports” tab in the Sponsored Search interface (learn more on the Ad Delivery Report in the Yahoo Help Center)

The Ad Delivery Report will show you not only your traffic sources – whether that be Yahoo or some of their partners – but also how your traffic from those sources converts.

If you find traffic sources that you don’t want, you can enter the domains in the Blocked Domains tool. You can block a maximum of 500 domains, so pick the domains that are most important for you to block based on the amount and performance of traffic. Make sure you’re getting enough traffic on those domains to make informed decisions about their performance, and keep in mind that when you block domains you reduce the traffic you’re likely to receive.

Good effort but 500 is still too low. You hit the maximum really fast and it seems to have different networks of fraudulent domains for all types of keyword niches. So it’s far from being enough. The block domain feature is only available for YSM US/CAN/IT/ES/DE/FR. It should be possible to block bad domains in ALL YSM markets. YSM scandies market send 99.9% of fake clicks and there are no way to turn bad domains off. Not fair!
