Email Marketing Strategy That You Need To Try
Do you want your email marketing strategy to have the impact that the Incredible Hulk could have on the world’s bad guys?
You would be crazy not to want that type of impact right! I mean look at him, he could do some serious damage.
One email marketing strategy that you should test to see if you could be the Incredible Hulk of email marketing is incorporating customer reviews in your email marketing strategy.
Product reviews help customers feel at ease with their buying decision. We’ve seen an increase of over 14% in conversion by simply highlighting top rated products in our marketing emails.

What will customer reviews do for your email marketing strategy?
- By adding the word “reviews” to your email headline you are very likely to achieve a higher open rate
- Incorporating a small but catchy snip-it of the product review in your email copy will increase customer curiosity, therefore making them more likely to click on the link that will take them to your site to read the rest of the review!
What will happen next?
- Your potential customer will have a higher trust level in your site and this will lead to higher website conversion rates
- A higher average order is very possible giving you an even higher return on your investment (ROI)
- Your boss will be amazed with your brilliance and you will get that reserved staff car park you have always wanted!
Your boss sucks, ask for a raise and job title change to “Incredible Hulk of Email Marketing Strategies”

This is a good idea to increase open rates and click through rates form a email campaign. Something I think we will test out on our next newsletter.

Is that a photo of you Brad?
If you combine email subject line, copy and landing page with reviews it would have a massive impact. I have only tested it in subject line and email copy and the difference is pretty substantial, something like 23% higher CTR to the site.
