Palm Meadows Golf Course

Palm Meadows Golf Resort is a world class championship rated golf course based on the Gold Coast. Once in the spotlight for hosting some of the finest golfers in the world during the Palm Meadows Cup and Ladies Masters, the spotlight was not shining on them in search results.

In order to be in line with Palm Meadows new market positioning of providing world class golf for locals, internationals and national tourism markets, the website needed to be found to help maximise inquiries and golf bookings.

The Goal

To achieve an increase in awareness for Palm Meadows as a golfing destination on the Gold Coast. This was to be done by delivering significantly higher natural search results and Google Places listing.

What We Did

• SEO – including Google Map Business (Google Places) listing and optimisation.

The Outcome

• Over 90% of the selected keyword phrases now has Palm Meadows in the top 5 positions of page 1 in Google Australia. The average natural search ranking had improved from 34th (4th page of results) to 4th (1st page of results) across a range of related keyword searches.
• Palm Meadows is now listed in the top 4 positions available for approximately 10+ search phrases in Google Local Map results.

The spot light is now on the Gold Coast golf course once again.
