JD Wedding Photography is a local wedding photographer serving the Gold Coast & Mt Tamborine. After exploring print advertising (Yellow Pages, Wedding Magazines) and trade shows, John (owner) wanted a marketing alternative that provided a significantly higher number of quality inquiries and higher return on investment (ROI).

After some keyword research, it was evident that the website was not appearing in search results or in Google Places results. We providing John with some friendly advice and got the green light to go to work on the site.

What We Did

• Twisted John’s arm so he would rethink the advertising and marketing strategies for the business to be more web based, instead of the traditional print media
• Changed the website into a WordPress controlled site
• Used Google Adwords to drive Gold Coast consumers looking for wedding photography services to John’s website and to accumulate keyword data
• Implemented the keyword data from Adwords into SEO strategies to drive consumers to the website for free
• Accumulated conversion data by testing different website layouts, colors and text for a future redesign
• Used the conversion data for a new website design
