Gondola Chalets Niseko

Gondola Chalets is a multi-million dollar alpine development located in Niseko-Hirafu, Hokkaido, Japan. The original Gondola Chalets website was developed in complete Flash Animation [?], these may look spectacular, however they produce very poor search results, if any at all.

To maximise holiday bookings, Gondola Chalets needed a website that would please consumers and deliver improved search engine results for specific keyword phrases. Click the image to see the result.

The Goal

• Develop a website design that highlighted the unique Gondola Chalets product
• Provided consumers with a channel to book accommodation & services with Gondola Chalets directly
• Delivered stronger search engine rankings over a wider range of keyword phrases in Google

What We Did

• Conducted keyword research that would allow us to structure the site to maximise search engine traffic and create awareness of the Gondola Chalets product
• Copywriting for the site structure, SEO & most importantly the end user
• In conjunction with Katsuki.org, a website design was developed with an uber cool interactive panorama

The Outcome

Gondola Chalets now has a website that is receiving a lot of search engine love, with multiple first page results in Google, Yahoo/Bing. This has injected targeted traffic into the Niseko accommodation provider that they were not receiving prior to our work.
